"Tooth cracks" are one or more hidden cracks on the tooth that start at the crown and tend to extend apically. They can be deep or shallow.

Cracks often occur near points, gaps, and grooves, where the ability to resist cracking is weak and where the teeth often bear force during occlusion; there are developmental defects in the tooth structure, and abnormal occlusion causes easy cracking after wear and tear; bad dental habits, such as Love to chew hard food, habitually clench teeth, chew on one side, etc.
